The concept of my collection sparked during quarantine where ironing became much more laborious without industrial irons and professional pressing services. Thus, I wanted to create a construction method that would flatten the garments completely in order to making the iron process easier and faster, meanwhile preserving an interesting silhouette when worn. This two-side cutting technique is also reflected in the contrast of fabrics, colors and textures. The rigidity of corporate wear has heavily influenced the archetypes that I have developed in this collection, however with the complimentary use of lining fabrics, I would also like to reference the comforts of tele-travail.
